The portrait procedure begins with a discussion between the artist and the client. Upon agreement on the size, setting, background and medium, the artist will schedule one and possibly two photographic sessions lasting approximately 2-3 hours. At this time, the artist will sit down with the client to take notes on details such as complexion as a point of reference. The photos will be presented to the client for approval. The artist will then proceed with completion of the painting and will deliver the product with insured satisfaction. Additional figures require an additional 60% of the listed price. Prices do not include framing, shipping and travel expenses. A deposit of 50% is due at the start of the process with the balance payable upon completion of the artwork.
